About this conversation

Gurbani Kaur's family had wealth: luxury cars, designer possessions, a comfortable life. She describes struggling to find peace in the middle of it.

She talks about feeling unworthy of Amrit (Sikh initiation). She was already coming into Sikhi when her family lost their home, and she describes the support she received then.

She also speaks openly about marriage, motherhood, depression and therapy.
